Albion's U12S (Colts) invited to Soccer Festival
The Club is looking into the possibility of accepting an offer from Newcastle
Community Soccer Association
to participate in their annual soccer sevens event. Our squad would be based
with out longstanding friends on Tyneside
Whitley Bay Boys Club for the weekend event to be held on 7th and 8th June 2008.
Phase 2 of the tour arrangements have now been
issued. Second instalment payments must be lodged with the club by 30 May

weather proof garments have been heavily subsidised
by the club's sponsor Trinity Roofing. Due to this subsidy each garment
is available at only £10

The club has enrolled a squad at U11 and U12 level and the programme
kicks-off

FIFA Futsal Information and Rules
The Boys Club sections have now been established
for 20 years, from 1988 to the Present. To celebrate a very successful 20
seasons based in the Lorne Area of Leith
a short historical snapshot will be available to view and placed on a specially
constructed web page from 7 January 2008.
The boys club's inaugural committee meeting was held on Thursday 12 January
1988.
The first coaching session was held at the clubs adopted base - The Pilmeny
Youth Centre, Buchanan Street on Friday 20 January 1988

Colts Football Festival to kick-start
Albion's Jubilee Celebrations
Albion will host a mini-soccer 7s football festival at Pilrig Park on
Friday 14 September to initiate the 50th Anniversary Celebrations.
Commencing at 6pm the four team event will be a 7-a-side round robin
event with 2 matches taking place
simultaneously lasting 20 Minutes. Clubs taking part:-
REDPATH ALBION COLTS
SPARTANS GIRLS
MUSSELBURGH WINDSOR
SPARTANS REDS
The event should conclude at approx 8pm
when all participants and guests will enjoy some refreshments.
Each of the four, 10 player squads will receive a commemorative plaque
celebrating the clubs Jubilee.
A huge crowd turned out at Pilrig to watch four
enthusiastic junior teams celebrate the clubs 50th Anniversary.

New Club Kit for Season 2007 - 2008
The "Vasco" design from kit suppliers Pendle in the
club's traditional colours of Navy/Red/White will have a slight sock variation
which will incorporate a band of White.
New Club sponsors will be announced shortly and the
company logo will be incorporated in the kit.
This lucrative sponsorship deal will also help to provide training and leisure
wear for all club players and officials
The club is also delighted to
announce that a three figure sponsorship deal has been agreed with
Gary McKenzie (Plasterers and Ceramic
Tilers) to provide training and leisure kit to the club's Junior sections

Autumn & Winter Colts U10s Will be held throughout the year indoors at Pilrig School
