Jubilee Charity Match
Redpath Albion v Albion Veterans
Pilrig Park, - KO 1.30pm
With L&EFA sides having a free week due to the Scotland - Italy Euro Qualifier, the club
used the free week to play their Jubilee Charity Fixture postponed from pre-season.
A first half goal put the impressive combined Strathie-Albion veterans side into a 0-1 goal lead
but a second half onslaught saw Albion shift into top gear as they blasted home 6 goals from Kerr (3) and
one each from Salton, Steve Morrison and Stevenson
A Post match reception was held in the Strathmore prior to the Scotland-Italy Game, then in the evening the Albion
'challenged' the Strathmore Darts team to a match which resulted in a 4-4 draw with the arrows flying around with some accuracy.
A total of £200 was raised from the day's events and has kick-started the club's Jubilee Charity drive.

Albion celebrate 50 years with convincing win against visiting side from Northern Ireland
First half goals from F Ross, Low and Kerr gave Albion a first half lead after going behind to an early goal
Further goals from Rutherford, and second goals from Kerr and F Ross sealed an emphatic Albion win

New Club Kit for Season 2007 - 2008
The "Vasco" design from kit suppliers Pendle in the club's traditional colours of Navy/Red/White will have a slight sock variation
which will incorporate a band of White.
This lucrative sponsorship deal with Trinity Roofing will also help to provide training and leisure wear for all club players and officials

The club is also delighted to announce that a three figure sponsorship deal has been agreed with
Gary McKenzie (Plasterers and Ceramic Tilers) to provide training and leisure kit to the club's Junior sections
